After days and weeks (and months) of delays… IT’S WORKING!
The Maxwell 800 Windlass winch motor is FINALLY Turning. Turns out after several days and dollars later the winch motor was never connected to the ground in a very impossible to find area!
A second set of eyes found the error just 3 days prior to the May 12, 2018 launch date.
Being September 2018 would you believe that beyond testing the anchor has STILL not touched the bottom of any body of water? After owning the boat since 2012-2013 and never being able to drop anchor… Now that I’ve got the ability I just haven’t taken the opportunity.
