I have committed to the 2019 season! It may be premature based on my last post.
Here is my mechanical repair items:
- When I hit a wave, the port engine goes from cruising RPM to 1200-1400 and goes right back up. This may need in water diagnostic.
- The Port engine also clicks on occasion when trying to start it. A solenoid may need to be replaced however I will defer to your expertise.
- My last tune up was before the 2013-2014 season. I’m not sure what the cycle is on having it done. Thoughts?
- The Trim on both drives became stuck at different points this season. One of the drives is not working when I press the raise button. Should the Outdrive Pistons be changed?
- Get EVERY anode changed on the boat.
- I would like to get the exhaust bellows uniform. I have a bellow on one side and a pipe/tube on the other. I am not particular. Whatever is in the interest of getting the most time out of the drives/engines is what I would like to do.
These are some of the notes I made at the end of the 2018 season. I’ve made a commitment to have them started. ~$600 or so. I guess its not bad. Tell me in the comment below what YOU think.
