With the seemingly easy end to last season I thought winter lay up would come and go with calls to a fiberglass person and the mechanic I use to handle some minor off season issues that lay outside of my comfort zone. Something happened. Continue reading “Stress & Health – I think they got me.”

This wasn’t an overly active season. Having only put about 15 hours on the boat I really don’t have much to report! Here are some pictures from the season. Continue reading “A Season-End Review”
The boat seemingly runs excellent and on plane at 3,500-3,750 RPM with an average-above average load of fuel and people on board. If you are running across a lake of glass the issue simply doesn’t occur. Ive got both chart plotter and data marine depth sounding paper weights. Because of my geographic location i never need to run too much further than eye shot of the amusement park. I think i should have depth gear! Thinking about an indash faria gague and im considering a chart plotter. What do you have? Thoughts?
I have NEVER used the ice maker on the wet bar in the back of my boat. Its present but broken. It turns on cools, makes one set of ice cubes then turns into an oven.
Repair the ice maker? Replace the ice maker or put something totally different in the void?
So…. a guess tells me the solenoid that controls my 95 baja wb340 is bad. I get no up, no down regardless of the helm switch or the pedals at the bow.
Will keep updated after i get back from the boat!
Looking forward to a much needed vacation this summer. Plans are to hit a smaller quieter island. Anyone have suggestions? Leave a comment and let me know.
