Stress & Health – I think they got me.

With the seemingly easy end to last season I thought winter lay up would come and go with calls to a fiberglass person and the mechanic I use to handle some minor off season issues that lay outside of my comfort zone. Something happened. Turns out in early September 2018 I became ill with swollen glands and until now (December 26, 2018) they come and go but mostly stick around.

A meeting with my doc as ended in a way that I can not put into terms. I was told to see an oncologist. I was told to see a cancer doctor. Tomorrow morning I go for a full body CT or CAT scan in the same facility my mom has had 4 treatments.

2 Things;

1. Boat plans are suspended for the moment.

2. I am scared to death.

When I get scared to death I freeze my plans. I can tell you that my intention may be to put the boat into the water without doing ANY work to it however that goes against everything that I feel is right.

Not to continue a bitch fit but Mom just got over B Cell Non Hodgkin Lymphoma and a separate lung cancer diagnosis. She will be alright! Especially for a 4 time cancer survivor. It ultimately has left her on disability and I am now left bearing the full financial weight of me, the boat, the house, my mom, 2 cars… etc.

I guess I should swallow my pride. I am asking for your help. Since Mom comes first:

The boat should come first because Mom wants it more than anything but I still need to keep the house, pay the bills etc….

Here is my request for help. https://www.gofundme.com/boatassistance

I am just trying to keep a level of normalcy while everything continues.

I will keep you updated as this all progresses OR stops. God has a plan for me and I’ll accept that. I think my better days are yet to come!

Prayers, Good Thoughts, Positive vibes help. Good People Make the difference.

Thank you,

Weldon
